_Mario & Vidis – “Changed” (feat. Ernesto)

I stumbled across this gem the other day and couldn’t wait to share it with you guys. Lithuanian producer Mario Basanov and Vidis have collaborated with Ernesto for a track called “Changed“, which is a great minimal, nu-disco electronic track. The video is even more interesting; it features bald men who value hair (hair volleyballs, hair bookmarks, hair ice-cream, hair everything) who seem to be trying to cut off the luscious locks of a dainty girl. A bunch of remixes of this track are going to be released soon, which I will definitely share if I like them. Watch & download below:

YBDPT BOOKS PRESENTS "WAS IST PASSIERT" BY JENS KAESEMANN

YBDPT BOOKS presents a new book in collaboration with the lifestyle and fashion photographer Jens Kaesemann.

The young and gifted photographer who was born in Düsseldorf, lives and works in Hamburg. Previously he worked 

several years as a photo assistant, before he started his own carrer. Since a couple of years he documented the 

youth and street culture around Germany and beyond the borders. He worked with some designers like "Claudia Becker",

and exhibited with the famous French publisher "Kaugummi Books", "Verve Magazine" or "Hakuin" from Zurich. 

Some of his works were presented in England, Italy, France, Germany and many more.

Now the time has come for publishing another book. A book with a local relation, called "Was ist passiert". The limited 

book includes many excerpts from the life of the young photographer. Driven by people, objects and nature, Jens is

always trying to challenge the bizarre. Even it's silly, the question arises: What has happened?

In the context of the book publication, YBDPT BOOKS presents in close cooperation with Jens Kaesemann

 the 4 hours exhibition calls "Was ist passiert". You are cordially invited! Come over and take a glimpse.

NATURAL WONDER

Two years ago Andrew Stevens and Karoline Stromme decided to tap into the burgeoning cult of fashion bloggers and persuaded the likes of Tavi and Susie Bubble to collaborate with them on designing a range of T-shirts. Drew and Karoline both have a strong interest in environmental issues and so decided to use only organic cotton tees for the project. It was this unexpected meeting of fashion’s fastest medium and the slower concepts attached to sustainability that worked so well. The range was a big success and sold in retailers from ASOS and Urban Outfitters to Parisian fashion mecca Colette. Extending their collaborative concept, Borders & Frontiers recruited a select group of Scandinavian artists, photographers and graphic designers to produce a set of eight prints, seen in this month's shoot, all inspired by the simple brief Natural Wonder. The prints are replicated across three products, a classic dress, a T-shirt and two sizes of scarf. Bucking the need for constant re-invention, the 'Natural Wonder Collection' is trans-seasonal. Launched at London Fashion Week for spring/summer 11, the products will continue to be available for autumn/winter 11 and beyond. The range explores unusual materials from tencel (eucalyptus) and organic cotton, to ahimsa (peace) silk. The prints are arresting, evocative and speak of the beauty and endless surprises of the natural world. What more can we say? Material and message, a great place to start!

Das Berliner Traditionsunternehmen Edsor Kronen est. 1909 hat uns die Tore geöffnet. In einem unscheinbaren Kreuzberger Hinterhof entstehen die Träume eines jeden Gentleman und auch die Damen kommen nicht zu kurz. Eigentümer ist Günther H. Stelly, der gleichzeitig über Jahrzehnte hinweg insgesamt 120.000 unterschiedliche Dessins und Schnitte entworfen hat, alles in herausragender Qualität. Junior-Chef Jan-Henrik M. Scheper-Stuke gab uns eine Führung über die unterschiedlichen Etagen der Manufaktur, den Showroom ganz in Art Deco und die von Stoffbahnen gefüllten oberen Fabriketagen. Wir waren so hingerissen, dass wir den "Hütern der wahren Eleganz" hiermit eine eigene Fotostrecke ohne Interview widmen.
