Rabbits Don´t Like Chips

>> I'm not sure if the title is entirely correct.  it makes me a) want to go to the pet store and borrow a bunny and take it down the chippie and b) if it is true, then I can scoff some chips myself.  Beyond abusing rabbits with fried potatoes though, the title in fact refers to accessories designer/prop and set maker/all-round creative wizard Jessica Dance and her creative partner Rob Francis's collaborative short film which features Dance's 'The Woolery Collection'.  Made out of ethically sourced hand dyed angora wool gave rise to the rabbit in title and in film in the form of a suited and booted rabbit looking wistfully out from a pier reading the papers.  His human companion is a dreamer girl skipping and dancing her way around town having all sorts of arcade fun, doing pirouettes in a band stand and yes enjoying a tray of chips.  Sad seaside towns in the UK will always get the better of me and makes for a perfect backdrop for both Dance's pieces as well as being the kind of non-event of a place where a well-dressed rabbit might appear.  Once again, I applaud Dance's multi-disciplinary approach to her work, breathing a surreal life into these wooly delights, both Kabiri and Jessica (via Etsy) is selling the collection which like her last Couture Creatures collection looks deliciously tactile...
